膝關節易位可吃Cosequin Ds嗎?

請問:
我家黃金右膝關節易位,
平時走路,起身狀況都ok,暴衝時跑得飛快(一時無法控制他暴衝)
但可以看出右腳有點縮,不太敢完全著地!
比較疼痛時,腳有些微跛!

之前看診時醫生建議:游泳及吃健骨樂,
但健骨樂吃了五個月後,因為購買不易,長缺貨,
目前停用!
想請問如果改用Cosequin Ds,
是否合適?

The chondroprotective supplement is to protect joints from having severe artritis. Patella luxation will cause some DJD also. For that purpose, cosequin will be a good choice. But, I still recommend to have your dog checked to see how severe the luxation is and to see whether surgical intervention is needed or not.
