請問狗狗有需要做THR嗎?(My Dog need to have THR operation?)

7.發病經過、症狀：於9/30由高處JUMP落沙灘, 2日後有少好轉, 只打了止痛針, 因為沒有照x-ray的儀器,
但在(10-3)沒有人的情況下HURT AGAIN, 看了急診, 現在醫生SUGGEST做THR (10/6)
( at 9/30 she jump off from the high step to the beach, then we bring her to visit the vet which near our living place (Lionrock Vet Car),
the doctor do not have any x-ray and operation for her because of lack of instrument, only have injecion for her) she seem better after 2 days.
However, she hurt AGAIN on 10/4 when we back to work, ( I think she go up & down to the sofa), she cannot walk and stand at that moment.
We brought her to the 24 hours emergency vet, the doctor help her to have x-ray, and bind her legs.
Yesterday, we go for re-check, the doctor help her to have x-ray again and suggest my dog have the THR operation.

8.醫師的診斷： 脫"較", 已經駁回, 但可能再脫.
(Out of joint, fixed, but doctor say would be out of joint again )

9.醫師的治療方式： 消炎藥早,晚一次, 現在用崩帶固定位置.

( I wanna ask doctor's advice, she really need to have the THR operation? If she didnt have that operation, what should we do?

I didn't see any x-ray after closed reduction. Please ask your doctor to make x-ray after reduction and bandage to make sure the femoral head is still in position. Once it is reduced correctly, keep the bandage on for one week at least. The successful rate for closed reduction is around 50% or less for large breed dog if there is still having good depth of acetabulum and no significant of damage of dorsal rim of the cup.

I will discuss with you later about surgical correction if the closed reduction is not successful.

I dont really understand about the "x-ray after closed reduction"?

10月6日所照的x-ray, 他們說已經是把脫臼喬回了的.....
你的意思是說待一個星期後再照的x-ray嗎 ? (因為她現在仍然包到崩帶).

如果是的話, 應該要得本周日才有新的x-ray可以上載給醫生.

By viewing the last 2 x-ray here(if they were after reduction x-ray), I have to tell you the femoral head wasn't reduced back to the acetabulum.
We also take x-ray after bandage to make sure the reduction is still in position.

oh, I think they didnt take x-ray after bandage then..........
so, you cannot give me any advise by viewing those x-ray now,right?

anyway, I will take her to re-check this sunday, I think they will take x-ray for her again...... I will upload the x-ray here for your comment.

I did mention here-if the last two x-rays here were after reduction, then I have to tell you the femoral head was not reduced back to acetabulum correctly.
Please have your doctor to recheck it as soon as possible.
